There are currently 693 e-mail addresses on the T-VOG list, but only 476 of them are associated with a person’s name. There’s a feature in the software that allows each one of you to input your own name so the list moderators can see who you are.
I’m working to clean up the list. I need your help to get this done. Here’s what I’m asking you to do.
— Go to the T-VOG web site and sign in.
— It will look (almost) like this after you have signed in. (You won’t see a “Management” menu; that’s moderator stuff. It’s too hard for me to leave it out of the picture. I’d need another login ID, and I have too many already.)
— Click on the “Membership” drop down menu item just above Trending Topics , then select “Edit Membership”, as shown below. (Most of you won’t see a crown. Sorry. We can fix that, if you’d like to help moderate the list. 🙂 )
— The following menu will appear. For many of you, “Display Name” will be blank. If “Display Name” is correctly filled in, you’re already done! If not, please click on the pencil icon next to “Identity”:
— Another menu will appear, as shown below. Please enter your first and last names, then click the purple “Save” button. If more than one e-mail address shows up, as in the example below, feel free to select the one you prefer to use.
That’s it. You’re all done. Thank you!
I understand that you may not wish to list your name at the T-VOG web site. If you feel that way, please reply to me at my private mailbox. Or send e-mail to the list owner. Simply state your name, state, district, and Tax-Aide role(s) so I can add your personal details to a database file that will be maintained off-line, and that will never be shared with anyone except the T-VOG co-moderators.
Thanks, y’all, for your cooperation and support.
